Hi friends! I know it has been a little while. Life is like that from time to time. So here’s a nice Tarot Meditation just for you! The cards are:
Ten of Staves/Wands
King of Staves/Wand
These are both cards of hard work and its hoped-for payoff, success. The ten is a card of nearing completion and the realization that the work required to finish the project may begin to feel burdensome. The King is your go-to guy, although the card may represent a male or a female, this person will definitely have a projective or masculine energy.
These cards are about keeping the final picture of your dream in your mind all of the time on your journey. If you look too hard at the small steps, especially if there are many small steps, you may lose sight of the ultimate goal. The Universe is there and will provide you with all the grace and juggling ability you may require to realize your dreams. The Universe desires nothing more than your happiness and success. Even if a way seems impossible, you must keep faith. For if you lose faith, you truly have nothing.
Consider the following meditation:
“I have faith in the Universe to provide me with all that I need. My dreams are easily realized and my plans are easily completed. Support comes easily and naturally to me. I am successful in all ventures and I share fully in the rewards I reap. I am an agent of change. I am fearless.”
Consider the following affirmation:
“Success is mine!”
I hope to present my new plan for the Power Cards and Tarot Meditation yet this week. I’m still finalizing details (these cards really spoke to me too!). I hope you will be as excited as I am! I love you all!
Love,
Nyx
Hello dear readers,
I have been taking a bit of break on the daily meditations and I’m cooking up something new. I’m working on the details. For the time being, I’m just going to post shorter Tarot Meditations. The Power Cards are coming back, never fear, in a big way!
More news next week!
Love,
Nyx
I’ve been working on this card for a while but it just wasn’t coalescing. I think I was trying to force something and I needed some more information. I believe it was given to me this weekend.
Karma is so often boiled down to a ‘what goes around comes around’ or perhaps even more tenuously, an ‘if I do good things, good things will happen to me’ ideology, which registers as less than altruistic to my thinking. It also makes Karma something completely external. It’s all about how we treat others; that our actions are constantly monitored and recorded on a cosmic scoreboard. How we are treating ourselves doesn’t enter into that tit-for-tat kind of thinking. We will never treat others fairly if we do not first deal fairly with ourselves. Karmic destiny begins in the heart.

It’s a beautiful, sunny day here in Avalon! The sun is shining, temperatures are actually getting warm and the spring rites are just around the corner! Fertility abounds! So what better time to consider the queen of fertility, The Empress/Creativity?
The Empress is a card of Creation. Little pains me more than to hear someone announce, “I’m not creative.” We have come to associate creativity with the ability to create something between masterpieces and salable consumer goods. That is not Creativity, nor is it the realm of The Empress. That is but one of her gifts. Blessed are we who make our lives creating, but that is not what this card is about.

Cards for today:
Two of Pentacles
Three of Cups
Prince of Swords
I would say that this is definitely a Wednesday kind of reading on the mundane level. The Two here represents juggling, especially financial juggling. The Three is a party. The Prince, well he’s a young guy of action, maybe talks a little beyond what he can honestly provide, but he does so out of confidence not deception.
Looking a little deeper, this is a little reminder that we eventually have to remember to ground ourselves. This is an example of how we can get caught up in the busyness and business of everyday life and begin to put our Divine connections on the back burner. Life is fun and should be enjoyed but when we allow our spiritual gas tank to run on empty, eventually we’ll crash. All that fun won’t seem so fun then.
Make time to reflect, every day if you can. Take time and consider the following meditation:
“I enjoy my life. I enjoy rejuvenating in my quiet sacred space. I take time for my spiritual needs, as I am worthy and benefit from spiritual connection. I release all cares and diversions that separate me from my bliss. Connection with my Divinity is my birthright. Blessed be.”
Consider the following affirmation
“I am open to connection.”

The Devil is a bit of a powerful card, if in no other way than the strong reaction he brings about in people. In the Judeo-Christian world, he’s become the cosmic bad guy - the one on whom we can pin our failures and shortcomings. In the context of this meditation, he’s the attachments onto which we hold; that which we need to release. He is our addictions and our compulsions, as well as our fears. He is us. The us who walks through this life and he is our earthly, bodily experiences. He is for what we’re here and what we must leave. He is the ego. But he is not, most certainly, our enemy. He is the dark side of, creating cosmic balance with, abundance.
I realized, once upon a time, that I had a list of the wrongs other people in my life had, in my mind, perpetrated upon me. If only they had (fill in the blank), then I would have (fill in the dream). I went around and around with this in my head. How was I supposed to deal with this? How was I supposed to move beyond? Cut them off? Write them letters? To mail or not to mail, that is the question. Should I continue to bury my pain in bad habits and relationships? Continue to divert my own life path and hold them responsible? Should I forgive them? That seems like the easy, ‘correct’ answer, right? Forgiveness means that you let go, not that you say their behavior was acceptable, that’s the line right? Should I cast a spell? Veer into the dark arts? Seemed I had a lot of options and not one of them was working.

It is a beautiful day here in Avalon! The Sun is shining on me as I write this outside, after the persistent begging of my doggie convinced me to do so. Granted, I’m freezing, but I’m outside! And there is sun. Sun! ‘Twas a rough winter here on the misty shores. Lots of snow and precious little sun. I’m all for some down time for reflection and recharging the batteries, as it were; however, this winter took it just a little too far. I’m sure there was a big lesson to be learned; if nothing else, I’m more appreciative of this beautiful day.
As I see the flowers begin to open and grow, I feel the fairy energy return. This is a creative time, as in true creation. Things get done that have been waiting for warmth, some babies are made and others are born. The spring rites are just around the corner! Love, true Love for ourselves and each other is the source of enlightenment. We release our fears that spring would never visit us again and have hope that a new dawn has arrived and we welcome it with light and happy hearts.

Hello and welcome to the new and improved Nyxadora.com! I decided to do a Tarot Meditaiton for today. The cards are as follows:
Ace of Swords
Prince of Staves
Two of Staves
Something new is beginning! The Ace in this reading signifies the beginning of a new cycle or possibly some karmic issues working themselves out. This is very interesting to me. I have been working on and off on the Justice/Karma card for about four days now and I’m having a serious block! I think I have an issue that I need to resolve before I can really understand the information being given to me regarding the card. Perhaps this is a sign that it is on its way? For the rest of the world, it means you should pay attention to the influence that actions of the past have on our present situations.
The Two and Prince tie together quite well, they are about the beginning of a new venture, most likely a partnership, but the Prince is the full of energy rather than experience type. He is reminiscent of the the zero card, The Cosmic Fool. He has a head full of dreams and lacks the crippling self-doubt that plagues so many. She happily tries that which interests her and does not allow for failure, for she feels that the only failure is to allow life to pass her by. This is the energy that is required to follow your dreams and these cards are very clear that this is exactly what you should be doing. Consider the following meditation:
” I embrace life and its winding road with open arms and an open heart. I savor every experience without labeling it. I do not fear any outcome and I expect nothing but complete success in every endeavor. My life is rich and full and I am on the path to new and exciting experiences and expansion. Blessings abound!”
Consider the following affirmation:
“Life is an adventure!”

Nyx
